Home Free is a traditional stern narrow boat that was built in 2001 by Midland Canal Centre and fitted out by the well renowned boat builders of exceptional quality, Stephen Goldsborough Numbered SG99. She is one of the last to be finished by the boat builder himself. Home Free is powered by a smooth running Beta Marine 43hp diesel engine. From entering from the well deck and through a pair of solid oak part glazed doors one step down into a carpeted saloon with a Morso Squirrel multi stove along with solid oak cabinet eye level glazed display cabinet and two seater couch which converts into a double bed. Following on from the saloon is a large galley with solid oak flooring and all the essentials and more including gas hob, grill and oven 240v microwave, 240v under counter fridge and counter top freezer, 240v washing machine, ceramic sink with drainer and chrome mixer tap, a pair of side doors to both port and starboard for open views of the canal. Walking through the side corridor is a solid oak door opening in to the bathroom with full size shower, vanity basin and a new Thetford C200 cassette toilet. Continue down the side corridor to the double bedroom complete with a built in wardrobe with small heater, dressing table and large under bed storage draws. Finally, you enter a large carpeted engine room, the engine and generator are located under sound-proofed deck boards. You can cruise the inland waterways in comfort and style on this bespoke fitted and well-appointed boat which is complimented by the additional systems fitted including, Onan generator, bow thrusters, galvanic isolator.
