Grindelia is a 47 foot traditional stern narrow boat built by Dennis Cooper of Canal Transport Services in the 1970s. She has a steel hull with wooden superstructure. Grindelia is powered by a 1.5 BMC marinised diesel engine located in the engine room at the rear of the boat. Layout from the rear comprises of the engine room, followed by single cabin, followed by shower room with Porta Potti toilet and wash basin opposite. Forward of this is a twin cabin which can also be converted into a large double bed. Next comes the galley with new Statesman Legacy gas cooker (2026) and stainless steel sink drainer. Cosy saloon at the front of the boat with solid fuel stove and L-shaped seating. The hull was over plated professionally and to a high standard with the boat being relaunched in 2024. Cover over the front doors. Current Boat Safety Certificate until 2029
