Evelyn’s Joy is a 50 foot all steel narrow boat built by R& D Fabrications in 1992. She is powered by a marinised 1.5 BMC diesel engine with Hurth gearbox which is located in the engine room at the stern of the boat along with the controls for the electrics and the inverter. From entering the main cabin from the engine room is currently being used as an office space but has previously been a double bedroom with full height hanging wardrobe. Following this is the shower room with full sized corner shower, Porta Potti and wash basin. Forward of this is the large open plan saloon, ready for your own furniture. There’s a solid fuel stove installed in the saloon (new June 2024). At the front end of the cabin is the galley with units on both sides of the boat housing, microwave, gas hob/grill/oven, stainless steel sink/drainer and ample storage/worktop space. Current Boat Safety Certificate until December 2029. New Webasto diesel heater fitted in May 2025 feeding radiators throughout. Survey available from July 2021. |
